I find maths challenging but other times ok. I find long multiplication confusing but the teachers always support us and give us time to practice.
I like topic – I enjoyed Stone Age Boy the best. I really like learning the topics over two weeks and get to really think about the topic in every lesson and then I can remember it better.
I try hard with my writing but I don’t find it easy, the growing green in my work helps me to get better as it shows me how to improve.
Raging Rivers topic – I kind of liked it, we went on a fieldtrip down a river which was great, it’s helped me learn about the features of a river!
I enjoyed the trip to Portland Basin Museum during the toys topic and played tiddlywinks – I liked it! I wouldn’t like to live in the olden times, they didn’t have XBOX.
This week’s topic is about Hedgehogs. You shouldn’t give them milk because it makes them poorly. They live in people’s gardens and sometimes in playgrounds. They roll themselves into spiky balls to protect themselves. I really liked making my fact-file about Hedgehogs because now I know how to look after and protect them.
I enjoyed the Macbeth topic very much, I enjoyed learning the Shakespearian language, it was tricky but I understood it and we made freeze frames and rewrote the story.
